Tuesday 20th January
Phoned Charles one of the boys. Ken has left his gloves. Charles came over. Also Gordon. Did not go till late, think they walked. They enjoy themselves. Cannot think of anything to fill the page except I like Canadian soldiers much better than some of our English soldiers.
Wednesday 21st January
Phoned Bob. He may phone tomorrow. Went to dance at village hall, quite good. Truck went without Charles and Gordon, so they had to walk. They did not go until about 2 o’clock. Joy likes Charles. Saw and danced with naughty Charles, as usual he tried to kiss me, and said many compliments
