Saw film â€œDiamond Horseshoeâ€, Betty Grable, Dick Hayes.Â Phoned Mummy in morning.Â And afternoon, evening.Â Said Goodbye to them all.Â Had telegram from them.Â Had bath.
Queen Mary left Southampton 9:30 a.m.Â Took photo of coast and ship Nelson.Â Went to show saw Rex Harrison in â€œBlyth Spiritâ€.Â Had bath.Â Did shopping.Â Bought jumper, brassiere, etc.
Was sea-sick, also the others.Â Forced myself to eat.Â Got cigarettes.Â Also souvenirs. Â Sat on deck and in lounge.Â Had coke, apples, etc.
